Since 10 Years old I have lived and worked most my life in Edmonton. By 2012 I graduated from GrantMacEwan University with a diploma in fine arts. I regularly show art in the Edmonton area to share my interests and growing understanding of urban life. I am drawn to topics of community and technology but my expressions of these are often surreal. Personal Issues with back-pain lets me explore bodily representations with our narratives around pain. Ergo, my practice flips between that and multimedia explorations of urban politics in the built environment. Being from a family interested in community building and having worked in a restorative justice non-for-profit I think it is important to reflect on the way we gather. I am inspired by re-using found materials, values hidden in urban infrastructure, and playing with the way we see our narratives on Pain.
