Art Themed Events are…

where I host and guide people through a creative experience uniquely theirs and many can be done online. These are good for any office, personal or institutional setting such as drop-ins, parties or teamwork events. Art is an inviting addition to any celebration and I can cater to many situations.

I have hosted within pubs, halls, offices, institutions or online events. I strive to give groups a memorable art experience that leaves you closer to creativity than when you started.

are within each description. Feel free to chat about your specific needs. I require about 1-2 weeks to prepare for events. I charge flat initial fees with the amount of people I can cater to. This participation limit allows me to guarantee a comprehensive event for newcomers. For more people than what an event is designed for the material costs may need adjustments for a quote.

Online events mean I can either create and deliver supply packages (depending on shipping requirements) or give material lists.

My experience…

comes from 10 years of community art as a local artist in Edmonton and talking with hundreds about creativity and craft. I like to cater to unique learning styles for when you are trying something new there is no better situation than for some light heated fun. Exploring art together is a bonding experience that comes with your own memorable keepsakes.

Regretfully, I can only service Edmonton and area unless you wish to discuss travel costs.

NERDY

PAINT

NIGHTS

With a couple of paints, brushes and a canvas we create pre-designed and nerdy paintings together! Each takes about an hour and a half for the lesson then an hour to play with i or hang out. Steps are blended with basic painting techniques and progress with simple techniques built upon one another. The ultimate goal is some adventure, surprise and self growth :)

Canvases are roughly 11x17 inches and I take care of tool set up and clean up unless for an online event. If you wish to get or use your own materials or do an online event I will provide an itinerary and offer a lower fee. I can prepare for most venues you have in mind and might have some suggestions if your still looking. Let me know if you have questions!

INTRODUCTORY

ART

Events built for institutions, online requirements or in person formats. These art events base themselves in the joy of craft and approachable drawing skills. The point is creativity and surprising oneself with a few simple tools and tricks.

Events are roughly 1.5 hours with another half hour for digesting, sharing or simply finishing what we created together (2 hours total). Each event aims to create an empowering keepsake that either allows you to play with ordinary items or inspire you to make art on your own time. Each event consists of a simple idea which we learn then progress in to more ambitious versions. Everyone goes their own pace and can decide to sit with any stage of the activity.

“Introductory Art” events are ideal for people getting to know each other, youth in institutions, Adults new to art or looking for group activities, and programming for kids 13+.

PRICES: $140 + Materials ($8-$20/person)

LARGE EVENT

ART

Events built for institutions, companies or groups for in-person. These art events base themselves in the joy of craft and approachable drawing skills. The point is creativity and surprising oneself with a few simple tools and tricks.

Compared to introductory art these events offer more involved art for bigger pay-off. In institutions it is recommended we start with introductory art so we are on a familiar basis when trying these. Events are built to have fun with the more wild sides of art by creating fantastic forms and colours with affordable supplies. All art forms aim to inspire and teach, allowing attendees to continue exploring on their own time.

Events are roughly 2 hours with another half hour for digesting, and sharing or simply finishing what we created together (2.5 hours total). Each event aims to create an empowering keepsake that reminds you of our journey and what you are capable of. Each event consists of a simple idea which we learn then progress in to more complicated ideas. Everyone goes their own pace and can decide to stay within any stage of the activity.

“Large Event Art” is ideal for people looking to get messy, try new things, or create a memory. Can be catered to Youth in institutions, Adults new to art, Adults looking to expand their craft knowledge, larger group activities, and programming for kids 13+.
