- Mission -
“I want to re-imagine and re-store spaces & tools for our health & autonomy. Sometimes this means aiding social infrastructure for communities or steps towards affordable housing. Often I develop my creativity or aid others artistic expression because I believe this empowers human centered design and positive change.”
Communication drawing relies on scaled imagery, Information systems, drawing convention and standardized building knowledge. Drafting is key to communicating imaginary projects, testing feasibility, estimating or maintaining budgets and exploring a vision.
Architects are supported by Architectural Technologists. I use Building Science, several kinds of vector programs, 3D Modelling Software, construction experience and material knowledge to understand and communicate building plans between clients and specialists.
Art lets me explore intuition, possibility and assumptions while reminding me of the many ways we can speak. Sharing my art and finding others grows my curiosity while learning more ways to connect.
What is Creative Technology?
Where technology and expression meet is how I see this role. My work experience in craft, production, construction and youth coordination has let me help creative people, their ideas, and makes me dream of how we create autonomy, saftey, and expression in community. I think Creative Technology is about using technology, fabrication methods, and craft and enviromental care to enable our grandest wishes and hopes.

My curiosity has lead me to try many mediums to learn new approaches but am strongest in drawing and paint. The connections that form my visual languages are my rural childhood, chronic back pain, urban and digital immersion, navigating masculinity, mutual assumptions about public spaces, creative recycling, and questions about “safe” spaces in the face of financialization. My commercial work focuses on celebration and honoring relationships while my experiments look to capture personal tensions in material and mark making.
