Drafting
Drafting plans lets me communicate constructed objects, installations and building plans with drawing set to scale. I can use reference imagery, Information systems, and drawing convention with building science knowledge, to map, plan and project unknowns. A good plan can project issues, test feasibility, and estimate budgets when exploring a vision.
Architectural Technology
Architects are supported by Architectural Technologists. I use Building Science, several kinds of vector programs, 3D Modelling Software, construction experience and material knowledge to understand and communicate ideas in to building plans.
Artistic Practice
Art lets me explore intuition, possibility and assumptions while reminding me of the many ways we can speak. Sharing my art and finding others grows my curiosity while learning more ways to connect.
What is Creative Technology?
Where technology, relationship and expression meet is how I see the Creative Technology role.
Creative Technology is about using industry technology, architectural education and a humanistic perspective to empower experimenters, locals and communities. Any creative technologist can do this differently via tools, programs, fabrication methods, craft and environmental care to enable someone’s grandest hopes. This might be synchronous with professional concepts within “Applied Arts”, “Social Activism”, “Environmental Urbanists”, or various “Media Design Technicians”. But I believe the commonality between Creative Technologists is our community focused perspective that facilitates expression and needs.

My own ideas center on how to create autonomy, safety, and expression in our communities because art and social infrastructure play important roles in my life and challenges. Currently I use Production and Architectural Oriented Drafting skills to support your ideas for unique projects that need particular attention and nuance to the production level and beyond. I bring small or intimidating building challenges in to focus by communicating projects with purpose to the physical world. New or Bold ideas need clarity and forethought because they take a special and daunting amount of work to take from abstraction to what we can use to plan and include the rest of our communitiy members.
